Research at Crystallography of U Freiburg
The Crystallography of the U Freiburg does active research in the fields of semiconductor crystal growth and characterization. In the frame of this research current questions from the research associations as well as directly from the industry are worked on. The main competences of the Crystallography Freiburg are in the fields of melt and melt-solution/flux growth techniques, material characterization with respect to structural and thermal properties, high-resolution X-ray diffractometry and topography, and experiments under microgravity conditions.
