Arrival by car

Freiburg is very well accessible from Basel/Mulhouse, Straßburg, and Karlsruhe by Autobahn (Interstate) A5.

Using A5:

Exit A5 at "Freiburg Mitte", then follow the distributor road in direction "Freiburg/Donaueschingen", exit distributor road at "Hauptbahnhof", pass the central railway station "Hauptbahnhof" and drive straight into "Stefan-Meier-Strasse", after approx. 500 m turn right into "Hermann-Herder-Strasse", the Crystallography (Kristallographie) is located after approx. 200 m on the right side.

From Black Forest:

Use B 31 direction "Freiburg", in Freiburg exit at "Hauptbahnhof" and pass the central railway station "Hauptbahnhof" and drive straight into "Stefan-Meier-Strasse", after approx. 500 m turn right into "Hermann-Herder-Strasse", the Crystallography (Kristallographie) is located after approx. 200 m on the right side.

Parking space can be found only outside the campus.
